Why We're Getting Married

We want to build our relationship on the firm foundation of friendship in order to construct a strong-rooted marriage. We don't want our marriage to be solely based upon our feelings for each other, which will come and go, but a self-giving, active love which insists on putting the other person first in a lifelong, exclusive, public commitment.

In order to do this, our relationship with God, the creator of marriage, is central to our life together. We cannot naturally sustain a selfless love, but need Him to bind us together and fill us with His own sacrificial love which can then outwork in us. It's only then that we'll be able to find a complete oneness in vulnerability and love.

Of course, we will also need your love, prayers and support as we embark on our journey together, and we would be delighted if you could join us as we celebrate the beginning of our life as Mr and Mrs Zealey!
