Directions to our Wedding
Directions to Emmanuel Church (Forest Road, Loughborough, Leics, LE11 3NW)
From the M1 (by car)
1. Leave the M1 at Junction 23.
2. Head east on the A512 (towards Loughborough Town Centre).
3. Continue straight on at the first roundabout (continuing on the A512).
4. Turn right at the second roundabout, towards Leicester on Epinal Way (A6004).
5. Turn left at the first roundabout (onto Forest Road).
6. Emmanuel Church is on the left hand side a little over a quarter of a mile along Forest Road.
Parking at the Church
The church car park is just before the church on the left (following the directions above), so as soon as you see the building, look for the car park entrance! There is a church hall building just before the turning to the car park.
If the church car park is full, OVERFLOW PARKING can be found using the William Davis Homes company car park opposite the church (we have their permission to use their car park).
From the Train Station (by bus/foot)
1. Take the Number 7 bus from the station to the Town Centre stop (Ashby square). Alight here.
2. Walk down Market Street (pedestrianised) towards Loughborough Town Hall.
3. At the Town Hall (big building with clock and flagpoles) turn right to follow Market Street past the REEL cinema.
4. Keep following Market Street (it will change names to Devonshire Square, Wards End, and then Forest Road). The church will appear on your right!
Directions to Beaumanor Hall (Woodhouse, Nr Loughborough, Leics, LE12 8TX)
NB. Please note that if you arrive at the church by foot/bus/train, we will arrange a lift for you to get to Beaumanor Hall. The below instructions are hence all for car drivers!
From Emmanuel Church (by car)
1. Turn right out of the church car park (or left out of the overflow car park opposite the church) to follow Forest Road away from Loughborough Town Centre and towards Epinal Way.
2. At the first roundabout take the 1st exit (left) onto the A6004 (Epinal Way).
3. Cross the three following roundabouts (going straight over each time), heading out of Loughborough.
4. At the fourth roundabout (just after crossing the steam railway lines), take the 3rd exit (right) onto Loughborough Road, going towards Quorn.
5. At the first junction/traffic lights, turn right onto Woodhouse Road.
6. Follow this road through Quorn, over the steam railway (again!), and on into Woodhouse (the road will change its name to Forest Road).
7. As you enter Woodhouse village, look for the sign to Beaumanor Hall. The turning into Beaumanor Drive will be on your right. Follow this along to find Beaumanor Hall.
From M1 Junction 23/Loughborough (by car)
1. Leave the M1 at Junction 23.
2. Head East on the A512 (towards Loughborough Town Centre).
3. Take the first right-hand turn onto Snells Nook Lane.
4. At the traffic lights (Priory pub on your left) go straight across.
5. At the T-junction at the end of the road (after approx. 2 miles) turn left onto Beacon Road.
6. Follow the road straight on (going through Woodhouse Eaves) into Woodhouse on the Forest Road.
7. The turning into Beaumanor Drive is signposted on the left-hand side as you drive through the village of Woodhouse. Follow the drive along to the end to reach Beaumanor Hall.
Parking at Beaumanor Hall
As you approach the Hall along the driveway, you will see the large car parking space on your right. Follow the drive around to the right just before you reach the Hall to access this area. There is plenty of room for all of our guests here.
NB. Please do not use the parking spaces directly in front of the entrance to the Hall (except for dropping off elderly or disabled guests) as this space will be used for wedding staff and deliveries, as well as our own wedding car! Thank you!
